Why do amusement park rides suddenly make me sick?
I am the type of person who loves amusement park rides. I will ride anything, always have been that way. I have never got sick or anything from riding rides. This year, I began getting motion sickness whenever I get on amusement park rides. I do not understand why. Could someone explain to me why this might be happening. It is very distressing because going to amusements parks is something I really enjoy and if I can figure out what is causing it then maybe I can enjoy them again. Thanks.

Vertigo is related to the inner ear. A doctor can help you and you can enjoy again the fun rides that you love so much

Sounds like you’ve got vertigo. See your doctor and ask him/her what treatment options are available.

Also, on days that you plan to go on rides that you know make you sick, take a Bonine tablet (look for it by the Dramamine and similar products in your local pharmacy) about an hour before you plan to go to the parks. It works just like Dramamine by preventing motion sickness, but causes less drowsiness than Dramamine. Bring an extra tablet with you just in case you feel that you may need it later in the day.

Hope this helps.
